Snowbird Ski Resort has something to offer everyone with over 2,500 acres of skiable terrain and access to nine high-speed chairlifts. The resort is home to some of the most advanced ski runs in the country, as well as a variety of novice trails that are perfect for beginners or those looking to hone their skills. As well as skiing and snowboarding, there is tubing, ice skating, paragliding, snowmobiling, and more available at the resort.
If you choose to stay awhile, Snowbird has four on-mountain lodges (aka hotel condo buildings) that guests can stay in. Among those is the Cliff Lodge, which is one of the country’s most iconic ski-in ski-out lodges. The Cliff Lodge boasts 350 rooms, shopping, ski rentals, multiple dining options, and much more. Another popular lodge is the Lodge at Snowbird, which offers 250 retro-chic hotel rooms and condos.
Snowbird has a few dining options available on the mountain. The Aerie Restaurant boasts award-winning fine dining each delicious and unique: Seventy One has got your casual bites, The Steak Pit has steaks and seafood, The Wildflower features Mediterranean cuisine, The Atrium does coffee and pastries, and The Lodge Bistro has a few casual dining options. In terms of aprés-ski, The Aerie Lounge has terrific upscale options and the Wildflower Lounge is loved by locals. The Tram Club also features dancing way into the night.
You can visit Snowbird on the Ikon Pass, Yeti Pass, Gold Pass, Mountain Collective Pass, Ski City Super Pass, and Ski Utah Passport. If you’re looking to jazz up your stay, Snowbird also offers ski tours, heli-skiing, ice skating, ice climbing, snowshoeing, and fly fishing opportunities. If you’re visiting in the summertime, be sure to take a ride on the famous Alpine slide.
