The BYU Men’s Cross Country team has a legacy highlighted by numerous NCAA Mountain Regional titles, multiple West Coast Conference (WCC) championships, and outstanding performances on the national level. Most notably, the 2019 season crowned the team as NCAA National Champions, an achievement that showcased the depth and talent of their roster. Their success comes from meticulous coaching by head coach Ed Eyestone, a BYU alumnus and Olympian, whose expertise has shaped the team’s legacy.
The Women’s Cross Country team has been equally dominant. Under the guidance of head coach Diljeet Taylor, BYU women runners have achieved incredible success. The team claimed the NCAA National Championship in 2021 with a commanding performance, proving their depth and competitive edge.
