Overview
This Utah resort is divided up into three distinct areas: Canyons, Park City Mountain and Deer Valley. Each area has its own unique terrain and activities to explore. At the base of the mountain lies a vibrant village with world-class dining, shopping and entertainment offerings, making it the perfect place for all ages to enjoy après ski activities.
The Canyons offers a variety of terrain for all levels as well as an extensive terrain park. Utah’s Park City Mountain area has some of the best ski and snowboarding slopes in North America. Meanwhile, Deer Valley boasts unbeatable grooming and impeccably maintained trails. With over 400 runs across the three areas, Park City Ski Resort truly has something for everyone.
Park City gets 360 inches of beautiful, dry powder each year. Thanks to its elevation of 7,000 ft, the snow quality is stunning. The lodging at Park City is a breeze thanks to the wide variety of luxury hotels, rental condos, and B&Bs. The Lodge at Mountain Village offers 97 rooms with ski-in and ski-out access to the mountain base. Alternatively, you can always find lodging on Downtown Main Street.
If you’re looking for bars, restaurants, and entertainment options, you can find plenty on Main Street. From basic pizzerias to Asian-inspired cuisine, Park City boasts something for every visitor. You can also dine at the Viking Yurt located on the resort, which serves up warm and cozy Norwegian-inspired meals.
Park City has tons of events (usually ski and snowboard competitions), though the most well-known is the Sundance Film Festival, which takes place each year in January. This is a fabulous time to go skiing, as the slopes are significantly less crowded than usual.
