History
Snow College was in 1888, and the first classes were held at a private boarding school in Ephraim, Utah. At the time, the college offered programs in agriculture, engineering and home economics. The college operated as a two-year institution until 1933 when it acquired four-year degree-granting status.
In 1947, Snow College became part of the Utah System of Higher Education and began offering bachelor’s degrees. In recent years, the college has grown substantially in size and scope, now offering over 20 bachelor's degree programs in addition to its traditional two-year programs.
In 2018, Snow College opened a branch campus in Richfield, Utah to better serve students from that region of the state. Snow College has also opened several online degree programs to make its courses more accessible to students all over the world.
