Desination venues such as Tuacahn in St. George, Utah, The Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City, Utah, the Hale Center Theater in Salt Lake City, and the Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre in Logan are just a few of the quality performing arts venues in Utah. The Utah Symphony at Abravanel Hall, Ballet at Capitol Theatre also offer some outstanding performances through the year.

Basketball fans enjoy the NBA's Utah Jazz at the Vivint SmartHome Arena downtown Salt Lake City and major league soccer at the Real Salt Lake Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy Utah. There are 7 division one colleges and universities that participate in a variety of sports. Don’t miss the 150 game Salt Lake Bees baseball season or winter with the Utah Grizzlies at the Maverick Center hockey rink. LAGOON AMUSEMENT PARK

Lagoon is a short 20 minute drive north of Salt Lake City just off the freeway (I-15) in Farmington Utah. Lagoon is one of very few family owned amusement parks in the world. The thrills, nostalgia, and wholesome good fun attracts over a million visitors from the end of March until the end of October. Lagoon has such a beautiful family spirit with over 50 rides, carnival games, live entertainment, food, a great variety of children's rides, and The Lagoon Coaster celebrating over 100 years of thrills. Lagoon is proud to keep the classic rides and continues to add new rides to their collection each year.

Pioneer Village: Lagoon houses an interesting and historic collection of pioneer buildings and artifacts that have been collected and reconstructed as a representation of pioneer life in Utah’s early development. There are over 40 buildings with furniture, weapon collections, an old time store, tools, and dolls. Enjoy a stroll through the wooden boardwalks and historic buildings or take your own journey through time with an antique photo where the whole group dresses up with costumes and props for a unique Lagoon keepsake. 

Lagoon-a-beach: Lagoon-A-Beach is a waterpark inside Lagoon. Basic admission to Lagoon-A-Beach is included in regular admission to Lagoon. Lazy river, four waterslides, a great way to keep cool in the endless summer fun that Lagoon has to offer.

Frightmares: This fall festival begin in September and runs through the end of October when Lagoon closes for the season. Frightmares offers Halloween inspired entertainment, haunted houses, pumpkins, autumn treats, spooky walk-throughs, and of course rollercoaster rides.

Lodging

Lagoon has an onsite Camp and RV park. Farmington Utah, where the park resides, has many overnight accommodations such as hotels, motels, vacation rentals, and more.

Dining

The park has a great variety of food options including a German themed food and drink area. Lagoon offers pavilions for rent for family reunions, corporate events and more. Outside food and beverage is permitted. If you prefer to grab something outside the park, Farmington has a great variety of dining options.
