Deer Valley Ski Resort is one of the most renowned ski resorts in the world, located just outside Park City, Utah. Deer Valley sees 300 inches of snow annually and terrain that is suitable for all ability levels. It’s situated from 6,570 ft to 9,570 ft of elevation, and its 21 lifts (and one gondola) grant you access to a whopping 103 runs. You can access the resort via Ikon pass, Yeti Pass, Gold Pass, and the Ski Utah Passport.

There are not a ton of Deer Valley restaurants and bars, but those you will find that most are located within hotels and lodges. Mariposa is located in the Silver Lake Lodge and serves elegant, gourmet cuisine with a delectable selection of wines. Cena Restaurant in the Chateaux boasts Italian-inspired cuisine and the Royal Street Café has delicious, reasonably-priced options. At Deer Valley, you will find that quality trumps quantity.

Beyond skiing, there is not much to do aside from roam around the exquisite lodges, but most visitors don’t seem to mind. There are a few day spas available if you need a little relaxation, as well as plenty of family-friendly activities available in the nearby Park City.
