Current Enrollment
As of fall 2021, BYU has a total enrollment of approximately 32,000 students. The majority of these students come from the United States, but there are also a significant number of international students from over 100 countries. The top five states that represent the student population are Utah, California, Texas, Idaho, and Arizona.
Best Rated Degrees
BYU has consistently ranked as one of the top universities in the United States. In 2021, U.S. News & World Report ranked BYU #66 in its “National Universities” category, and #1 in its ”Top Performers on Social Mobility” category. BYU has several highly ranked programs one of which is the Marriott School of Business (ranked #22). Other top-ranked programs at BYU include its nursing, engineering, and education programs.
Sports Programs
The university has a strong athletics program and part of the NCAA Division I and the West Coast Conference. The sports talent is highlighted in a variety of sports including football, basketball, and track and field. The BYU football team in particular has a rich history of conference titles and bowl game appearances.
Student Housing
BYU offers a variety of student housing options, including on-campus apartments, dormitories, and off-campus housing. All students attending BYU are expected to live according to the honor code that lays out standards for personal conduct and dress that contribute to the wholesome education setting that BYU provides.
