Utah is presently rated #1 in the United States for the number of formal volunteer hours served by Utah residents. That's just one indicator of the benevolence of the people who reside here. Even with this great effort, there is no shortage of need for more volunteers.

Just Serve
One of the organizations that helps coordinate service efforts in Utah is Just Serve (JustServe.org), a group that has 180,000 registered participants, and 950+ active projects.  Their recent newsletter highlights just some of the good that the people of Utah have been engaged in over the recent holidays, and we thought we'd share a few highlights.

December - Springville, Utah
Local residents contributed 42,000 lbs. of food which was redistributed to community food-insecure families. An estimated 600 volunteers from Utah and Idaho worked with local high school Key Club and Kiwanis Club members to make this happen.
These are just some of the events that are highlighted in the Just Serve first quarter newsletter for 2024.
