WSU has a diverse student body, with students coming from all 50 states and many different countries. In the fall of 2020, there were approximately 28,000 students enrolled at WSU, with about 73% coming from Utah and 27% coming from out of state or abroad.
Best Rated Degrees
Weber State University offers more than 200 undergraduate and graduate degree programs, ranging from business and engineering to education and the arts. Some of the top-ranked programs at WSU include nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and engineering technology.
WSU is also known for its strong business programs, with the undergraduate business program ranking in the top 10% nationally. In addition, the MBA program at WSU has been consistently ranked as one of the top programs in the country by various organization.
Sports Programs
Weber State has a strong athletics program, with teams competing in the Big Sky Conference of the NCAA Division I. The university fields teams in a variety of sports, including football, basketball, soccer, track and field, and golf. One of the most successful sports programs at WSU is the football team, which has won numerous conference championships and made several appearances in the NCAA Division I Football Championship. The basketball team has also had notable success.
Student Housing
WSU offers a variety of student housing options, including traditional residence halls, apartment-style housing, and off-campus housing. All of the residence halls offer a range of amenities, including laundry facilities, common areas, and Internet access. The apartment-style housing options at WSU are designed for upperclassmen and offer more independence and privacy. These options include furnished apartments with full kitchens, private bedrooms, and living areas.
