Utah State University currently enrolls over 28,000 students across its campuses in Cache Valley and other locations throughout Utah. The student body is composed of undergraduate and graduate students, with the majority being undergraduates. Around 70 percent of undergraduates are from out-of-state while 30 percent come from within Utah. The College of Science also hosts seven different departments focused on scientific research and education.
US is a member of the NCAA Division I and offers numerous sports programs including basketball, baseball, soccer and track & field. The football team competes in the Mountain West Conference while other teams compete in the Big Sky Conference. In addition to traditional athletic programs, USU also provides students with an array of recreational activities such as swimming, skiing, yoga and rock climbing.
