Utah State University is an accredited public research university located in Logan, Utah. Founded in 1888, it is the oldest public institution of higher education in the state. History
Utah State University was founded in 1888 as the Agricultural College of Utah, making it the oldest public university in Utah. The school originally offered courses in agriculture and mechanical arts before expanding its curriculum to include other fields such as mathematics, natural sciences and engineering.
