Current Enrollment
Utah State University currently enrolls over 28,000 students across its campuses in Cache Valley and other locations throughout Utah. The student body is composed of undergraduate and graduate students, with the majority being undergraduates. Around 70 percent of undergraduates are from out-of-state while 30 percent come from within Utah. In addition to traditional enrollment options, USU also offers several online programs ranging from undergraduate degrees to doctoral level courses.
Best Rated Degrees
The university offers a wide range of degrees and programs, with some of the best-rated programs being in business, engineering, computer science and healthcare. The College of Business is home to several undergraduate and graduate degrees including accounting, finance and business information systems. USU’s College of Engineering typically enrolls around 1,200 students annually who are pursuing engineering degrees in a variety of fields including civil, industrial, electrical and mechanical engineering. The College of Science also hosts seven different departments focused on scientific research and education.
Sports Programs
US is a member of the NCAA Division I and offers numerous sports programs including basketball, baseball, soccer and track & field. The football team competes in the Mountain West Conference while other teams compete in the Big Sky Conference. In addition to traditional athletic programs, USU also provides students with an array of recreational activities such as swimming, skiing, yoga and rock climbing.
Student Housing
USU provides a variety of on-campus housing options for students including traditional residence halls, apartments and family housing. The university also offers several off-campus housing options such as student apartments and houses. USU strives to maintain an active and safe living environment by providing students with resources such as counseling services, health clinics, tutoring centers and fitness facilities.
