Snow College

History

Snow College, located in Ephraim Utah. Snow is a public college that offers a two-year degrees. Snow was founded in 1888 and at the time was known as the Sanpete Stake Academy. The college was named Snow College after Lorenzo Snow, the fifth president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). Ephraim offers a great backdrop to this community college that serves students of all backgrounds and faiths.

With a cozy student population of about 5,000 yearly, most students attending are from Utah and the surrounding states. There are many students from all over the United State and other countries making Snow College the incredible and unique small town higher education environment it is.
